When a card drops from a monster, instead of going to your inventory it goes to a special Album of Cards. Cards in your album automatically give permanent bonus to all characters in your account.
Cards cannot be traded, so you will have to party up and farm them directly from monsters. Be ready to explore every map of Rune-Midgard!
Cards can grant stats, enable skills or add custom new mechanics to improve gameplay.
In total, there are 443 cards to complete your album. So, even though each card alone have a small effect, they add up quickly to make your char very strong and versatile!

The original RO cards for slotted gear are replaced with Runes that you can equip in your gear with a special NPC.
If you drop a card that is already in your album, you will get a Repeated Card (misc item) that can be traded with an NPC in Prontera.
For example, you can trade 10 Repeated Cards for an Old Card Album. Be careful with OCAs, though: they don't contain all cards and are very weighted to the initial cards.
Don't worry if you are in a party: the players without that card in their album will be prioritized instead of the Repeated Card, even if the party is configured to not share items or even if that player is dead! (Just make sure they are in the same map).
Drop rates for cards depends on the monster tier. Normal monsters have a lower drop rate, mini-bosses medium and MVPs a higher rate, and so on. See the drop tiers below:
The Rebirth Outfits are a special reward for players that collected many cards.
To obtain one of those you will have to collect at least 400 cards by the end of a Season (see Season Rewards) - the outfits are the only items that persist through the Seasons.
In Legacy, you can obtain them by reseting your album with at least 380 cards.
Besides granting a distinguished transclass visual, the outfits also provide stats and unique features:
Alpha
Knight
• HP Recovery when standing or moving is as fast as if sitting.
• Endure lasts for twice the number of hits.
• Each point in VIT provides 1.2 Soft DEF instead of 0.8.
Priest
• MATK + 10%
• Magnus Exorcismus includes Ghost and Shadow Properties as valid targets.
• Mace Mastery grants STR + 1, AGI + 1 and CRIT + 1 per level.
• Mercenaries receive +400% Loyalty from kill-count bonus.
• B.S. Sacramenti can be cast with no requirements.
• Enables use of Level 10 Duple Light.
Wizard
• Reduce BASE cast time and cast delay of all skills by 0.2 seconds.
• Energy Coat SP used reduced by 50%.
• Fire Wall can now have up to 5 simultaneous instances.
• Enable use of Level 1 Ganbantein.
Blacksmith
• DEF + 2
• Mammonite and Cart Revolution can CRIT.
• Over Thrust provides + 15% damage with forged weapons
• Additional 30% duration when applying Stun. This additional duration works on non-MVP boss monsters.
Hunter
• You can see enemies 3 Tiles further (cannot attack further, though).
• You detect hidden enemies.
• Against MVPs, Damage + 25% with Blitz Beat, Claymore Trap, Blast Mine and Land Mine.
Assassin
• Perfect Hit + 20.
• Your attacks execute enemies under 25% HP (Maximum damage of 400 times your Base STR).
• Damage + 10% with Katars.
• Back Slide SP cost -3.
Crusader
• Healing received from spells +10%.
• Effect + 100% with Reflect Shield.
• Reduce SP cost of skills by 10%.
• Enables use of Level 5 Providence.
• Divine Protection and Demon Bane have triple the effect.
Monk
• Spirit Spheres give 10 holy ATK instead of 3.
• Enables use of Level 1 Body Relocation.
• Removes Steel Body ASPD penalty.
• ASPD + 10%.
• Critical Explosion gives double the crit bonus.
Sage
• Endow skills no longer spend SP/resources, cast Impositio Manus, have instant cast and cannot fail, but the duration is reduced by 90%.
• Deluge, Volcano, Violent Gale and Land Protector will apply on a 15x15 area.
• Enables use of Level 5 Dragonology.
• Enables use of Level 10 Free Cast.
• Elemental Change no longer spends resources.
Rogue
• Enables use of Level 10 Reproduce.
• Strip skills have Success chance +10% and Duration +10 seconds.
• Increases Tunnel Drive movement speed by 25%.
• Adds 20% chance to Double Attack when using bows and one-handed swords.
• Back Slide SP cost -3.
Alchemist
• Axe Mastery grants STR + 2 per level.
• 30% chance of not consuming resources when casting Potion Pitcher, Acid Terror, Demonstration, Bio Cannibalize, Sphere Mine and Chemical Protections.
• Homunculus deals 10% more damage, and receives 10% less damage.
• Acid Terror hits 1 additional time per nearby demonstration (up to 5). Acid Terror deals 10% less damage for each additional hit.
• Acid Terror has a chance for a demonstration near your target to spread to a nearby cell.
Bard/Dancer
• Song, Dance and Ensemble skills apply on a 15x15 area.
• Ensemble skills started by the partner are also 15x15 area.
• Enable SP Recovery when performing Songs, Dances and Ensembles
• For every 10 points in your LOWEST base stat, gain +1 all stats
Super Novice
• Enables use of Level 1 Trick Dead.
• All stats +3.
• You are always under the effect of Super Novice Spirit and death record is set to zero.
• Enables use of Level 5 Transcendence.
Star Gladiator
• Miracle of the Sun, Moon and Stars occurs with 10x the chance, but lasts 10x less.
• Demon of the Sun, Moon and Stars no longer reduces sight.
Soul Linker
• You can cast Soul Linker spirit on yourself.
• Kaite grants Resistance + 10% vs Magical Attacks.
• SP recovery + 10%.
• Kihop also gives 1% MATK per skill level per party member.
Gunslinger
• Flip The Coin has + 10% success chance.
• Gain bonus depending on equipped gun type:
- Revolver: Attack Speed + 6%, Cast Delay - 10%
- Gatling Gun: Adjustment grants Attack Speed +20%
- Rifle: Tracking has +10 Range. For every tile distance to the target, Basic attack damage + 12% and Tracking damage + 3% (caps at 10 tiles)
- Shotgun & Grenade Launcher: DEF + 5. You can knockback non-MVP boss monsters. Damage + 50% with Spread Attack. Damage + 100% with Ground Drift.
Ninja
• Enable use of Level 5 First Wind
• Reduce cast delay by 15%.
• Attack speed +10%.
• Reduce monster aggro range by 3 tiles (toggle on/off with @da).
• Physical and magic damage + 25% vs full HP targets.
Taekwon
• You are considered a Taekwon Ranker.
• Damage + 10% with Counter Kick.
• Stun duration + 20% with Axe Kick.
• Area increased from 5x5 to 7x7 with Whirlwind Kick.
• Knockback increased from 2 cells to 4 cells with Round Kick.
Beta
Knight
• Flee +10.
• Successful Auto-Counter give a 30s buff of 2% ASPD, stacking up to 5 times.
• Cavalier Mastery Level 5 gives mounted movement speed and spear size modifier when unmounted.
Priest
• Resurrection after cast delay -30%.
• Enables use of Level 10 Gloria.
• Angelus increases healing received from skills by 10%.
• Status Recovery affects all party members when self cast.
Wizard
• Meteor Storm has double chance to stun.
• Lord of Vermillion has double chance to blind.
• Earth Spike and Heaven's Drive have 20% chance to silence.
• Soul Strike and Napalm Beat have 20% chance to curse.
• Quagmire can have up to 5 simultaneous instances.
Blacksmith
• Enables use of Level 1 Throw Tomahawk.
• Enables use of Level 1 Cart Boost.
-70% damage taken from reflect.
• Over Thrust provides +5% attack speed with forged weapons.
• Throw Tomahawk and Cart Revolution gain bonus damage equal to ((weapon weight)/5)%.
Hunter
• Detect causes enemies to count as beasts for the purpose of Beast Bane and Beast Strafing.
• 30% chance not to consume ammunition.
• Arrow shower aoe increased to 7x7 and knockback is reversed.
Assassin
• ASPD +5% per dagger equipped.
• 50% not to consume Venom Knife.
• Throw Venom Knife damage +3% per 10 cards in album.
• Venom Splasher can be used regardless of enemy hp.
• Venom Splasher timer is always 5s regardless of level.
• Damage +10% against poisoned targets.
• Back Slide SP cost -3.
Crusader
• Enables use of Level 10 Heal.
• Auto-Guard usable with 2h Spears.
• Cavalier Mastery Level 5 gives mounted movement speed and spear size modifier when unmounted.
• 50% of MATK is added to ATK while wearing a 2h Spear.
Monk
• Asura Strike no longer does damage.
• Asura strike heals sp for 5% of the damage it would have done.
• Enables use of Level 1 Body Relocation.
• Enables use of Level 1 Dangerous Soul Collect.
• Triple Attack can be cast manually with a 1 second cooldown.
• +1 dex per level of Iron Fist.
• Chain Combo becomes 5x5 aoe while under the effect of Monk Spirit.
• All SP is drained on unequip.
Sage
• Enables use of Level 5 Health Conversion.
• Enables use of Level 1 Soul Change.
• Enables use of Level 1 Spider Web.
• Reduce cast delay by 10%.
Rogue
• Enables use of level 10 Shadow Spell.
• Enables use of level 1 Graffiti.
• Enables use of level 1 Cleaner.
• Monsters stepping in a graffiti of their name permanently take 10% more damage.
• Back Slide SP cost -3.
Alchemist
• Mercenaries receive +400% Loyalty from kill-count bonus.
• +30% chance of not consuming resources when casting Potion Pitcher, Acid Terror, Demonstration, Bio Cannibalize, Sphere Mine, and Chemical Protections.
• Potion pitcher have additional effects:
- Red potion: Casts Impositio Manus Lv5
- Orange potion: Regenerate 5% hp per 5 seconds for 1 minute
- Yellow potion: Heals allies in a 5x5 area around your target
- White potion: +25% healing if target under 25% hp
- Blue potion: The next skill cast within 10 seconds costs 0 SP
• Enables use of Level 5 Full Chemical Protection.
Bard/Dancer
• Musical Strike and Throw Arrow range +2.
• Musical Strike and Throw Arrow can CRIT.
• Pang Voice and Charming Wink duration increased to 30s.
• Enables use of level 1 Pang Voice.
• Enables use of level 1 Charming Wink.
• When linked, Dance Lessons and Music Lessons are also linked.
Super Novice
• Enables use of Level 1 Trick Dead.
• All stats +3.
• You are always under the effect of Super Novice Spirit and death record is set to zero.
• Enables use of Level 5 Breakthrough.
Star Gladiator
• Miracle can no longer be active.
• Anger of the Sun, Moon, and Stars have no effect.
• All maps are considered as a place of the Sun, Moon, and Stars.
• Demon of the Sun, Moon, and Stars no longer reduces sight.
• You are always under the effect of Star Gladitor Spirit.
• Union no longer drains HP on hit.
Soul Linker
• Rebirth Spirit has a new effect: Soul links yourself, granting 50% chance to double attack.
• 5% chance to autocast Kaupe when attacking at learned level.
• 5% chance to autocast Kaite when attacking at learned level.
• Kaina also gives 3% ASPD at each level break (70, 80, 90).
Gunslinger
• Enables use of Level 1 Rich's Coin.
• 50% chance not to consume ammunition.
• Disarm has a minimum of 15% success rate and 120s duration.
• Fling is 3x3 aoe.
Ninja
• Allow equipping of daggers in left hand.
• Enables use of Level 5 Left Hand Mastery.
• Retain 30% of current hp after using Final Strike.
• Shadow Slash reduces the after-cast delay of Haze Slasher by 50% on the next cast.
• Haze Slasher increases the damage of Shadow Slash by 30% on the next cast.
Taekwon
• Flying Side Kick always does damage as if sprinting.
• Tumbling no longer interrupts attacks.
• +20 Perfect Hit.
• Peaceful Rest is always active.
Custom Commands
These commands were created in ccRO to improve quality of life gameplay and to balance classes. Most will require a card to unlock it.

[needs Leaf Cat Card] Absorbs a Loyal Pet, destroying it and storing its effect. The effect becomes active whenever you do not have a hatched Pet. Multiple absorbed pets do not stack.

Scaled Dungeon (only in Seasonal)
The Scaled Dungeon is a 5-stage repeatable custom instance in ccRO where you can fight mobs and MVPs scaled to many Difficulty Levels.
When a new Season starts, only the Level 1 Difficulty is available, but as the Season progresses, higher levels are unlocked for adventurers to test their strength.
Monsters won't drop any loot, but by the end of each stage the players will get EXP and Card Coins based on the Difficulty Level - doubled if finishing the last stage.
Also, by conquering Difficulty Levels for the first time, you will get special Milestone rewards that can increase the drop rate of all monsters!
